Acceptable Stay with Issues

constant noise poor food quality
The staff was very helpful, addressing my queries promptly.
My room faced the service area and I noticed a constant noise from the machinery. It was quite distracting! The buffet breakfast was not up to par. I found the food quality lacking. I found this unacceptable given the hotel's reputation.

Check-in was simple. The room was spacious. The bed was large. I found the room to be very clean.
The middle lift was out of service. This caused delays. There were no signs acknowledging the lift issue. There were no apologies from staff about this inconvenience. The queue for the lift was long. The corridors were crowded.

The room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower! The hotel had underground parking, securing my car. The breakfast included generous choices catering to all tastes.
The check-in process felt slightly impersonal. It was not the warm welcome expected from this hotel.
